WHAT:

Envirothon is an exciting natural resource academic education program that is designed to teach students 5 subject areas in Environmental Science, Wildlife, Aquatics, Forestry, Soil, & Current Environmental Issues and then test their knowledge in a team interactive, outdoor competition.

Middle & High School Students in grades 6th-12th (There is classroom space for parent-monitored younger siblings!)

HOW:

In this academic club, we operate as a Co-Op, where students will learn how to work in teams and use a variety of study methods to prepare for competitions in March & April (overnight). They will be expected to complete weekly homework based on assigned readings, take in-class quizzes, and give presentations. Team placements are based on academic performance. There will be off-site field trip opportunities for hands-on learning as well as family campouts.
