Melissa Garcia is a devoted follower of Christ, a lover of the Bible, and a lifelong learner who enjoys sharing her faith with others. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for nearly twenty-five years. The joy she finds in teaching is evident in her role as a mother to her three homeschooled children: Maddox, Alyssa, and Gabriel.

 

With over twenty years of teaching experience in traditional and non-traditional classrooms, Melissa earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Spanish, in 2006. She also holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and is licensed to teach and serve as an administrator in North Carolina. Since moving to North Carolina, she has taught and tutored in the local community for the past eight years.

 

In her free time, Melissa enjoys long walks, making sourdough bread, playing board games, and reading.
