Spanish I – Tutor: Paula Bostrom

Spanish 1 introduces students to beginning Spanish. Students will learn and practice Spanish pronunciation. The class includes vocabulary and phrases to ask and answer questions in Spanish, give and follow directions, purchase items, make small talk, and present the gospel. Students will learn Bible verses and a couple of hymns in Spanish. They will learn Spanish grammar for nouns, pronouns, adjectives, present tense verbs, and preterite verbs. ​

Spanish II – Tutor: Paula Bostrom

In Spanish II, students study vocabulary and phrases to communicate at an intermediate level in a variety of settings: a store, a bank, an airport, a hotel, a doctor’s office, an auto shop, and on the mission field. The class particularly focuses on grammar, with practice in pronunciation, writing, listening, verb tenses, and moods. Students will learn Bible verses and write compositions to enable them to share the Gospel. ​
